George Curtiss is a proud U.S. Marine veteran and lifelong Eastern Oregon resident whose life reflects a deep commitment to faith, family, and service. With 22 years in the military — 18 in the Marine Corps and 6 in the Army National Guard — he’s learned the value of discipline, leadership, and standing for something bigger than himself. Those same qualities now shape every part of his life outside of uniform.

Faith plays a central role in who he is. As a follower of Jesus, he strives to live each day with honesty, humility, and gratitude, letting those values guide his relationships and decisions. His strong moral compass and sense of duty have earned him the respect of friends, neighbors, and fellow community members alike.

Family has always been the foundation of his world. He and his wife are raising two boys they love deeply, instilling in them the same respect, courage, and compassion that have defined his own journey. Whether they’re out camping under the stars, hiking through Oregon’s rugged landscapes, or spending quiet weekends fishing and hunting together, he cherishes every moment spent with them.

He’s not the type to sit on the sidelines. Whatever he commits to — whether it’s a project, a cause, or helping a neighbor — he gives his full effort. Having lived in Eastern Oregon his entire life, he’s proud to call it home and passionate about its people and traditions.
